What we collect and why
Quotation requests
When you submit a quotation request, we collect the information you provide in the form: contact name, email address, telephone number, company name, country, the products and quantities in your quote basket, and any packaging, pallet or delivery preferences and free-text notes you add.
We use this solely to prepare and send you a quotation, and to correspond with you about it. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Email and other correspondence
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details and content of that correspondence in order to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example which pages are viewed and which countries visitors come from. Where analytics cookies are used, they are set on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time through your browser settings.
Technical data
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- our website hosting provider;
- Google (Google Analytics), which may process data outside the EEA under the European Commission’s adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses;
- our email provider, for correspondence.
We may also disclose data where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
- Quotation requests that do not lead to a business relationship: up to 3 years from last contact.
- Quotation requests and correspondence relating to a concluded contract: for the period required by Estonian accounting and commercial law (generally 7 years).
- Server logs: typically up to 12 months.
- Analytics data: in line with the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, www.aki.ee.

It may also use analytics cookies, which are set only where you have consented.
